Since buying a camera at the beginning of the year, the transmission of photos has become a big problem. Before the Spring Festival, I wanted to buy a film camera that I could use with Daisy. Considering that Daisy is not cold to manual cameras, she can only choose from PS machines with full autofocus. I flipped through my favorite camera shop and found a close-to-brand new Olympus μ-2, so I decided to "that's it."
The μ series is Olymups' compact camera line, and in addition to the name of the fixed focus product that contains only the word μ, there are also zoom models with ZOOM in the name. After entering the digital age, the μ series has also launched nearly 20 products, which can be described as "prosperous people" and a huge family.
The Olympus μ-2 is the most classic in the series, released in 1997. The μ-2 has a simple design, and the size is only about the size of an iPhone 4, which is quite convenient to carry around. One side of the camera uses a similar arc to that of a sports car, and the overall is light champagne gold. In order to control the weight of this camera, the shell of the μ-2 is completely made of plastic materials, but it does not look cheap under reasonable design and color matching, but it will give people the illusion that "this thing is not cheap".
The Olympus μ-2 is waterproof for life and has the blue logo "All weather" on the machine. The μ-2 I bought, in addition to being extremely new, is also a somewhat special "Chinese mainland version" - the whole machine parts are produced in Japan and assembled in China, and the back of the fuselage is also pasted with the "People's Republic of China" laser logo commonly found on imported goods in the 90s, and even the packaging box is printed with Chinese product information. The Olympus μ-2 uses a 35 mm prime lens with a maximum aperture of 2.8 and is extremely optically superior, with a 35 mm focal length that is one of the highest frequency focal lengths I use on a daily basis. When the lens cap of the μ-2 is pulled open, the camera automatically turns on, and the actual viewing area is also indicated in the form of a frame line. The μ-2 is equipped with Olympus' then-state-of-the-art Multi-AF AF system, which is faintly visible below the flash area. In actual use, the focus of the μ-2 is very fast, and thanks to the existence of this focusing system, even in the face of some relatively complex scenes, the μ-2 can distinguish the focusing subject very well.
Μ-2 has only two main function buttons on the back, the left button is used to adjust the flash mode, and the right button is used to turn on timed shooting or remote shooting mode. During everyday shooting, the electronic screen displays the current number of shots and camera mode. The two small buttons on the right side of the screen are used to adjust the photo timestamp, which I usually don't use at all; the small dots below are used for manual retraction. The transparent box on the far right can just see the basic information of the film, which is very intimate.
The viewing frame of the μ-2 is very small, and if the eyes cannot be perpendicular to the viewing frame during framing, the line of sight is easily blocked by the surroundings, and the state of the small green dot of focus cannot be seen. Fortunately, the focusing system of the μ-2 is very reliable, and many times even if I can't see the small green dot, I will press the shutter with confidence and not worry about focusing.

Because of a weekend trip that said I was going to go, I escaped the outbreak at home, successfully trapped in a friend's house in the field, and dragged him and me to stay at home for two weeks. I didn't think that this stay was a month, and when the epidemic was over, the lockdown was lifted, and the year was over. Apparently, I had planned to go home for the weekend and didn't bring enough work essentials with me. After finding that I could hardly leave, I decided to buy a keyboard so that I could use my friend's laptop that had broken the keyboard to work.
(Some friends may have read this and thought that this person was not saved.) What was even more unsaved was that I actually bought two. ）
Naturally, this keyboard can't be too expensive, and I also hope that it is a little thinner, on the one hand, it is easier to put on the small temporary office point, on the other hand, it is better to take it home in a bag. After sweeping the idle fish, I decided to spend 60 yuan to buy a Cherry G84-4100 USB that has been eliminated for many years, this keyboard I originally only saw the industrial version and the early non-Windows adaptation version, the first time to see the late version of the native USB + Windows, I think it is time to try this decades ago.
As for the results of the early adopters, to put it bluntly, the G84-4100 is not a good keyboard. I can only think of it as Cherry's attempt at a portable keyboard, but in terms of functionality alone, it's fun, it's worth playing, and it's all there.
The keyboard of the G84 series is equipped with a Cherry ML shaft, and the axis eye is two square holes, known as the "pig nose" shaft, and the low shaft of subsequent manufacturers such as Kaihua and Jiadalong also adopts this design. It's not a good enough low axis, so cherry has produced a more suitable MX Low Profile (although it is still very crotch-pulling). However, there are still other manufacturers that purchase ML shafts, such as Kinesis Advantage 2, which is an ergonomic keyboard, and the short function keys in the F area are ML shafts. It has only one feel, that is, a small paragraph similar to a tea shaft, and there is a small feedback when pressed, and the pressure gram is about 50 g. Compared with the common MX shaft body, due to the rectangular shape of the shaft and the rough mold, when pressed from the corner of a single button, the key resistance rises sharply, which is very difficult.

However, due to the fact that the overall design of the G84-4100 is more portable, it vigorously compresses the keyboard size while attaching keycaps with almost the same height, no ergonomic design, and even the strange length of 0.9u compression keys, like a notebook keyboard directly out. This cramped strike area, which is more cramped than the average MX-axis keycap, instead limits the finger press from the corner. And the ML axis as a low axis travel is very short, even if the press is biased, a strong force will go down, but it is better than the particularly stuck full-height axis experience, even if it is crooked and straight into the "not useless" level. It is that the keycaps work very poorly, the injection molding inlet is very obvious, and the angle of typing is not noticeable.

The keyboard was small, but Cherry managed to cram all the keys into it in combination, even the numeric keypad. However, the actual experience of this keyboard is not good, and the arrangement of symbols is far from that of ordinary keyboards. That's why I bought a second-hand keyboard later: you can hardly adapt to blind typing on this keyboard, its symbol layout is too far from modern keyboards, and it is not customizable like custom.
God-like 0.9u function keys and strange layout
In short, if you really want to play with this portable old keyboard, you may be able to experience it, anyway, 60 yuan is not expensive, and it is not unusable, typing or can be carried.
