Located in Chongli District, Zhangjiakou City, the competition area has a total of 8 competition and non-competition venues, where 2 major events (skiing, biathlon) and 6 sub-events (snowboarding, freestyle skiing, cross-country skiing, ski jumping, Nordic biathlon, biathlon and 50 minor events are competed.
The most famous of the divisions is the National Ski Jumping Center (Snow Ruyi). This is the first ski jumping resort in China, and the main building is inspired by the traditional Chinese ornament "Ruyi", so it is figuratively called "Snow Ruyi".
The slides of the National Ski Jumping Center are divided into HS140 Big Jump and HS106 Standard Jump, 140 Big Jumps with a length of 110 meters and a drop of 135 meters, and 106 standard jumps with a length of 106 meters and a drop of 115 meters, which is the largest ski jumping venue in the world today.
