Lakers star Westbrook gave a media interview after training today, in which he talked about his expectations for the remaining season.
When talking about his name appearing in the deal rumors before the deadline, Wei Shao said he expected the Lakers to show their best side as a team when the deadline has passed.
"I'm looking forward to the (All-Star) holiday at the end of which we can make sure to take the best step in a collective way."
This season, Westbrook has played in 55 games for the Lakers, averaging 18.3 points, 7.8 rebounds and 7.6 assists per game, as well as 4.1 turnovers.
