The Sun: Rooney didn't let Ferguson appear in a solo documentary or be related to two quarrels

According to the Sun, Rooney's personal documentary will be released on Amazon's website today local time, but the former Manchester United goalscorer does not seem to want Sir Alex Ferguson, who coached him at the peak of his career, to appear in the film.

Rooney's manager Moyes during his time at Everton, as well as mourinho, his last manager at Manchester United, have appeared in the Red Devils' all-time top scorer solo documentary, but surprisingly, the film, called "Rooney," did not interview Ferguson at all. Although the two had two fights during their partnership at Manchester United, it is understood that Ferguson is very willing to contribute to the filming of the film. But in the end, the Scots were only mentioned in some fragments.

Curiously, at the film's world premiere in Manchester on Wednesday night, Ferguson was also invited to attend, but the old lord had another appointment before. Because recently, he was busy shooting the movie "The Life of Brian Robson".

The rivalry between Ferguson and Wenger has become legendary, but now the two are good friends; when David Beckham left the team to join Real Madrid in 2003, there were also factors in the deterioration of relations with Ferguson, but the two also reconciled. But the scars of Looney's old quarrel with the legendary manager are clearly not healed: there is little mention in the film about how Ferguson's buying of 18-year-old Rooney from Everton affected his career. And that does involve the past of Wayne Looney's attempts to move away in 2010, when he thought United lacked ambition under the Glazer family.

Although eventually staying, in 2013, the final months before Ferguson retired, the two quarreled again, because Rooney was unhappy that he was often moved to different positions. Ferguson said after the last home game that Rooney had asked for a transfer, but the players subsequently denied that and went on to play for the team until 2017.
