On the evening of February 11, the Beijing Winter Olympics short track speed skating men's 500m preliminary round was just held at the Capital Gymnasium. China's Ren Ziwei and Sun Long were divided into second and seventh groups, with defending champion Wu Dajing in the final group.
In the end, Ren Ziwei and Wu Dajing were directly promoted to the first place in the group, and Sun Long, who played in the seventh group, was sentenced to promotion because of the foul of his opponent.
The men's 500m 1/4 final of short track speed skating will be held at 19:00 on 13 February.
