At the same time, the water system here is dense, the mountains are undulating, and the project construction personnel need to carry out water treatment and field leveling operations in an area of 11.84 square kilometers, and all local drainage consolidation, in the main lake area of 958,900 square meters, the average thickness of silt is 5 meters, and the deepest depth is 17 meters. The Zoma Lake water system treatment project is the premise of all follow-up projects.

The "moving mountain" earthworks amounted to 49 million tons and took only 166 days to complete, which means that an average of more than 290,000 tons must be dug up every day. Among them, more than 500,000 tons are more than 500,000 tons for 18 days, and 10,000 vehicles of earth and stone are pulled per day according to the 50 tons of load per vehicle. This is an earthwork project that has never been seen in the history of Ezhou City.

How much soil does each vehicle carry? The project uses the smart weighing room system to automatically count the vehicle driving, license plate and load capacity, reducing the road congestion and safety hazards caused by traditional weighing, and greatly improving work efficiency. At the same time, through three-dimensional aerial survey calculations, the project team "cut the peaks and filled the valleys" of the mountain, and processed the soil and stones on the spot to reduce the load of the earthworks.

Digital tower blooms the world's largest "Lamei"

The shape is inspired by the tower of Hualamei in Ezhou City, which is the tallest building in the airport, with a height of 89 meters, and is also the airport command brain. At present, the construction of the tower has entered the completion acceptance stage.

The shape of the tower "Lamei" as a whole has six petal-shaped symmetry - the concrete core tube with a diameter of 10 meters is the "flower stem", and the expanded steel structure "vein" plus the hyperbolic curtain wall forms a "petal" with a diameter of 23.5 meters. There are two major difficulties in the project: ensuring the verticality and surface flatness of the "flower stem", and the hoisting and installation of the "petals". The project team adopts mature climbing mold technology, customized six giant steel templates for splicing, and ensures that the distance from the steel mold to the center of the circle can ensure verticality at each climb, so that the "flower stem" forms a standard circle.

The upper curtain wall of "petals" is a single curved surface, no piece of glass is the same, the project team measured the actual quantity one by one, and then customized production and hoisted in place after one numbering. For the lifting of steel structures with limited sites, the project team optimized the design, decomposed the steel components, and then used the tower crane to connect in the air, and finally achieved air positioning.

What is less well known is that the air traffic control tower and its supporting facilities are not only the "highest" projects in the airport, but also the "widest" projects in scope. The project has a total of 8 individual projects, including the air traffic control tower of "Stars Holding the Moon", two field monitor radars in the east and west, a weather radar, a secondary radar station in Bamiao Village of Huahu, and 3 off-site navigation stations distributed in Tuanfeng County of Huanggang and Daye City of Huangshi.

Terminals, cargo terminals and related supporting projects are the main part of the airport. The construction area of the terminal building is about 15,000 square meters, and the construction area of the freight station is about 23,000 square meters.
