According to Naypyidaw, the State Administration issued a statement that 1 man and 1 woman in the Township District of Ruipita and Miao Ograpa Township in Yangon Province were sentenced to life imprisonment and hard labor for violating terrorism-related regulations. On February 8, the Yangon Military Court held a hearing on a terror-related lawsuit to hold the suspects accountable in accordance with the relevant regulations.

It was learned from the statement that after verification by the relevant departments, Wudanwu, a resident of Garden (3) Road in Saigon Village, Rebida Township, maintained contact with the violent organizations included in the list of terrorist organizations from March 15, 2021 to January 16, 2022, and funded funds to terrorist organizations.

Su Yibai, a resident of the first (17th) block of Ruibaoganxin Township in Miao Ograba Township, has gone to the ethnic armed control area to participate in military training, sponsor terrorist organizations, and raise funds. Accordingly, the military court sentenced two suspects to life imprisonment and hard labor under Regulation 50 (J).

According to the information released by the State Management Commission, in recent months, nearly 100 people have been sentenced to life imprisonment and death by military tribunals for participating in armed training, planting stolen goods to kill others, and bombing suspects, in accordance with regulations 50 (A), 50 (I) and 50 (J) of the terrorist attack regulations, and 23 types of terror-related criminal cases must be transferred to military courts for separate trial.
