The product is a fascia gun with power adapter, packaged in brown cartons. The electrical specifications of the power adapter of this product are: input 100VAC ~ 240VAC, 50Hz/60Hz, 1A, output 25.2VDC, 1A.

The reason for the notification is that the product is in danger of causing an electric shock. The power adapter supported by the fascia gun is not fully insulated, and the creepage distance between the primary circuit and the secondary circuit is insufficient. The product does not comply with the EU Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standards EN 60335-1, EN 60335-2. At present, the competent authorities have ordered the operator to recall the product from the consumer, and the effective date of the measure is March 5, 2021.

(2) "HMS" fascia gun

Briefing date: June 18, 2021. Brand: HMS. Fascia gun type/model is PDM3125, power adapter type/model is HC-122002, barcode is 5907695574234. The product is a fascia gun with power adapter, packaged in brown cartons. The electrical specifications of the power adapter of this product are: input 100VAC ~ 240VAC, 50Hz / 60Hz, output 12VDC, 1A.

The reason for the notification is that the product is in danger of causing an electric shock. The power adapter supported by the fascia gun is not fully insulated, and the creepage distance between the primary circuit and the secondary circuit is insufficient. The product does not comply with the EU Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standards EN 60335-1, EN 60335-2. At present, the competent authorities have ordered the operator to recall the product from the consumer, and the effective date of the measure is March 31, 2021.

Notification time: August 20, 2021. Brand: Jinhua Hengguang electronic, Out of the blue KG. Fascia gun type/model is 61-1840 and power adapter type/model is HGCS090100. The announced product is a black fascia gun, the electrical specifications are 9V DC, 1A, 1500mAh, equipped with 8 accessories and a power adapter (input is 100VAC ~ 240VAC, 50Hz/60Hz, 0.8A, output is 9V DC, 1.0A), online platform sales (especially AliExpress), placed in a black flexible belt zipper box. The product of the notification is a counterfeit product.

The reason for the notification is that the product is in danger of causing an electric shock. The creepage distance between the live primary circuit of the transformer and the accessible secondary circuit in the power adapter of the product is insufficient, and the electrical insulation of the power adapter is insufficient, resulting in the user may touch the live parts and be subjected to electric shock. The product does not comply with the EU Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standards EN 60335-1, EN 60335-2-32. At present, the competent authorities have ordered distributors to recall the product from consumers, and the effective date of the measure is July 29, 2021.

(4) "RL Icecube" air cooler

Notification time: December 24, 2021. Brand: RL Icecube. The type/model is CKS-0502012W, R031-01, and the barcode is 4017807457759. The product is an air cooler with power supply, the electrical parameters of the power supply are 100V~240V, 50Hz/60Hz, and the cooler electrical parameters are 5V, 1A~2A, online platform sales, white carton packaging.

The reason for the notification is that the product is in danger of causing an electric shock. The product causes the risk of electric shock because the electrical insulation of the power supply component of the air cooler is insufficient, and the creepage distance between the live primary circuit and the accessible secondary circuit is insufficient, resulting in the user may touch the live part and be shocked. The product does not comply with the EU Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standards EN 60335-1, EN 60335-2-98. At present, the competent authorities have ordered distributors to recall the product from consumers, and the operator has also asked importers to recall the product from consumers, and the effective date of the measures is August 27, 2021.
