Professor Flute - Professor Dilk Peppel

Dirk Peppel, a well-known German flute player, was the principal flute player of the Symphony Orchestra of the State Theatre in Karlsruhe, a guest performer in more than forty symphony orchestras, opera houses and radio orchestras, as well as as a concertmaster and soloist in chamber concerts.

Prior to being Professor of Flute at the Rostock Academy of Music and Drama, he taught at the Mainz Conservatory, the Mexican University of Science and Arts, and today he is professor of flute at the Cologne Academy of Music and Dance.

Professor of Violin - Professor Ulrike Bals

Ulrike Bals was a member of the Consedino Orchestra and the Orfio 33 Orchestra, performing as a violin soloist or chamber music member at festivals around the world and regularly in Germany.

She has been teaching at the Rostock Conservatory of Music and Drama for more than twenty years, where she teaches students majoring in all categories of violin, including those preparing for concert exams, students majoring in education or art training, and students in secondary school music teachers, as well as teaching violin and viola group classes in both methodological and pedagogical practice.

Professor of Jazz Drums - Professor Dietrich Verrin

Professor Dietrich Verrin is a jazz drummer and percussionist who has studied and researched at universities in Los Angeles, Berlin, Ghana and Costa Rica, and is internationally renowned as a live musician, studio musician, or teacher.

His research focuses on music in Africa and Latin America, and for more than two decades he has taught mainly at music colleges and occasionally at general secondary and secondary schools. In these schools, he holds lectures, seminars and other types of courses, and presides over seminars on different subjects such as stylistics, pedagogy, prosody and body percussion, as well as jazz drums and percussion instruments. His students include interdisciplinary associate teachers, experienced teachers, and musicians.

In addition to his role as a teacher, he is also a well-known textbook author, study code writer, and composer. His books are not only a must-read for musicians, but are now also international standard textbooks. Some of his compositions are fixed in the optional repertoire of classic music competitions.
