According to a report by the Observer Network on February 11, Dutch lithography giant Asmail announced in its just released 2021 financial report that Chinese company Dongfang Jingyuan is actively selling goods in China that may infringe on their intellectual property rights. Asma suspects the Chinese have ties to the bankrupt U.S. company XTAL, which has been convicted of infringing Asma's intellectual property rights. Of course, even Asma has to say that they do not have any evidence to prove that all this is true at present, so there is no intention of appealing for the time being.
A single suspicion has labeled Chinese companies as infringing intellectual property rights, and in the eyes of these Westerners, China can only catch up by "stealing" their technology. This is not the case, Oriental Jingyuan said that at present, the core technology of all its products is self-developed and at the leading level in China, and there is no infringement of intellectual property rights as claimed by Asma. What is more interesting is that in the "technical dispute" between Asmail and Chinese companies, the Dutch media also made a joke. After Asma's questioning, the Dutch media saw the stitches and forged the identities of the aforementioned XTAL employees, saying that these employees who stole technology from Asmail had Chinese names and that XTAL was a subsidiary of Oriental Crystal Source.
