"The masses called me last night to send some meat to the children, and I left early in the morning to go to the village to get it, and the mountain road was snowy, more than 20 kilometers, and I walked for an hour and a half." Li Qi said.
Li Qi braved the rain and snow to deliver newspapers and mail packages.
Li Qi, 46, has been working in the postal service for 13 years. He is responsible for the delivery of 9 villages in Xingyuan Township and 1 village in Ningyuan Township, and walks nearly 130 kilometers of mountain roads every day. From February 5 to 7, heavy snow continued in Dingxi, and in order not to miss the opportunity, Li Qi braved the snow and ice to deliver newspapers and mail parcels to the villagers.

Li Qi is a native of Litang Village, Ningyuan Town, and 13 years ago, he joined the postal service as a courier. "Everyone respects the postman and thinks it's a sacred profession." Li Qi recalled.
The vehicle slowly moved forward and finally came to Kangjiazhuang Village, Xingyuan Township, 5 kilometers away. Chen Yanli, the village chief, is working on the case. "The newspaper has arrived." Hearing Li Qi's voice, Chen Yanli immediately got up and took the newspaper. "Master Li is a responsible person, even if the wind and snow are big, he insists on sending pieces every day." Li Qi delivered the newspaper to Kangjiazhuang Village in Xingyuan Township.
"Delivering party newspapers and periodicals is a political task, and we must transmit the party's voice to the grass-roots level at the first time." Li Qi said.
Coming out of Kangjiazhuang Village, Li Qi immediately rushed to the next point. The dark green mail truck moves smoothly on the winding mountain road, and the snow chains on the rear tires occasionally raise white snow foam.

"After all these years, I have a relationship with this job, and most importantly, I have feelings with the people." Li Qi said with a smile.
This winter, something happened that touched Li Qi. One rainy and snowy day, he drove to deliver, and the car slipped off on the road, unable to turn around or go uphill. In desperation, he could only ask for help from the people who knew each other nearby. After a while, four or five people came to help push the cart.
Every day, Li Qi drives a mail truck to drive the mountain road of Highway 130.

Li Qi witnessed the changes along the way. "The asphalt road leads to the village, the infrastructure is getting better and better, and the local products of the village enter the city along the road." He said.
Zhangjiashan Village, Xingyuan Township, with deep mountains and deep ravines and inconvenient transportation, is the farthest distance in the village that Li Qi is responsible for delivering.
"In the past, there were basically no mail parcels there, but now the villagers have learned to shop online, and today there are more than 20 couriers, and they often send special products to relatives in other places." Li Qi said, isn't this a change in the days getting better and better?
