Beijing, February 11 (Reporter Guo Chaokai) In the first and second rounds of the women's steel frame snowmobile competition of the Beijing Winter Olympics held on the 11th, Zhao Dan, a young player after "00", temporarily ranked 4th. Speaking of serving as the female flag bearer of the Chinese delegation at the opening ceremony of the Beijing Winter Olympics on February 4, Zhao Dan said that he and another flag bearer, Gao Tingyu, had not participated in the opening ceremony rehearsal because of their concentration on preparing for the war. On the day of the opening ceremony, when waiting in line, Zhao Dan asked Gao Tingyu how to go and what were the requirements? Gao Tingyu told her that she didn't know either. Zhao Dan laughed and said that neither of us had gone through the rehearsal, "Then come, feel free to finish."

Zhao Dan, 19, is the youngest player in the Chinese steel frame snow team, but she has a "big general demeanor" on the field. In 2020, Zhao Dan represented China at the Winter Youth Olympic Games and finished 7th; in the 2021/2022 season, she won the Intercontinental Cup in Innsbruck. At this Winter Olympics, Zhao Dan and teammate Li Yuxi represented China, which was the first time that Chinese women's steel frame snowmobilers participated in the Winter Olympics, achieving China's breakthrough in the project.
