At the National Biathlon Center in Chongli District, Zhangjiakou City, biathlon competitions are proceeding in an orderly manner, and this is the venue for the Beijing Winter Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, which will produce the most gold medals. The production of the gold medal is inseparable from a fair referee, and among the biathlon referees in the winter event, there is a young man from Wuhu, Anhui Province, who is also the only referee in Anhui Province to serve as a referee for the project.

"Participate in the Winter Olympics, feel the Winter Olympics, and think about the Winter Olympics", these are the words written by Zhu Kaidi, a referee of the biathlon project, in the circle of friends. Zhu Kaidi is an associate professor at the School of Physical Education of Anhui Normal University and a master tutor. At the end of 2021, he received the official selection notice from the Winter Olympic Organizing Committee and became the referee of the biathlon of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, and the only Anhui referee in the biathlon event.

Zhu Kaidi recalled that he had an indissoluble fate with the Olympics. When he was studying, Zhu Kaidi wrote sports reviews to several major portals, reported on several Olympic Games, the World Cup, the five major leagues in Europe, etc., and the topic of his master's thesis was also related to the Olympic Games. In 2018, Zhu Kaidi was selected to participate in the training of technical officials of the Beijing Winter Olympic Games, and after more than three years of online and offline training and heavy selection, Zhu Kaidi was successfully selected with outstanding comprehensive ability.

Since late January, Zhu Kaidi has been preparing for the Winter Olympics. This time, Zhu Kaidi worked in the National Biathlon Center, located in the valley on the northeast side of the Prince City area in Chongli District, Zhangjiakou City, with a very excellent competition environment, but the outdoor temperature was about -20 °C. In the extremely low temperature environment, Zhu Kaidi worked for 12 to 14 hours, and he could not go home during the Spring Festival, silently contributing to the smooth progress of the Winter Olympics.

"Although I didn't go home for the Chinese New Year this year, I spent an unforgettable Spring Festival with several colleagues at the Biathlon Center." On the afternoon of February 9, it was a rare rotation break after Zhu Kaidi came to the National Biathlon Center, but as a teacher at Anshi University, he also held an online video group meeting for the graduate students he brought to guide the students to prepare for the upcoming new semester.

For his dual identity, Zhu Kaidi said that as a college teacher, he can participate in the Winter Olympics and observe on the spot, which is a good opportunity for him to study the sports industry and the development of sports events.
