The Women's Steel Frame Bobsleigh Race at the Winter Olympics will be held on February 11 at the National Bobsleigh Center for two days with 25 participants. Zhao Dan and Li Yuxi will welcome the debut of Chinese women's athletes in the steel frame snowmobile event at the Winter Olympics. The last official training, at two o'clock in the afternoon, the maximum temperature in the Haituo Mountains of Yanqing was close to 2 degrees Celsius. According to the rules of the Winter Olympics, a total of three official training sessions are arranged before the official competition, and each player can carry out a total of six taxis to adapt to the track, adjust the equipment, and find the best gliding feeling. In the first two official training sessions, Zhao Dan performed well, winning the first place twice in four slides, and she was the only female player who slid into 62 seconds in training. Another Chinese player, Li Yuxi, is also struggling to adapt to the rhythm of the competition, finishing 17th on the first trip and 6th on the second trip.
Before the women's event, the men's steel frame snowmobile event will take the lead this morning (10th), and the Chinese team will have Yan Wengang and Yin Zheng two players. At the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics, the Chinese team won the 13th place in the men's steel frame snowmobile; now at the Beijing Winter Olympics, Yan Wengang and Yin Zheng, two more impactful young men, will strive to achieve greater breakthroughs. In the last official training session in the afternoon, Yan Wengang made a slide with a score of 60.67 seconds, ranking 3rd among all 25 players; Yin Zheng made two slides, the first skating 60.52 seconds, ranking first; and the second skating 60.94 seconds, ranking second.
