Tilanqiao Prison is indeed a key cultural relics protection object in Shanghai, and there is such a sign next to the gate.
Tilanqiao Prison, formerly known as The Shanghai Public Concession Bureau Huade Road Prison, broke ground in 1901 on the plots of land in the present-day Baoding Road, Changyang Road, Zhoushan Road and Kunming Road, with a construction area of about 40,000 square meters. Originally there were two cells, designed in the style of an American prison, with 60 rooms on each floor, arranged back to back, and each row of cells with iron doors, which was completed in 1903. By the 1930s, there were 11 cells with more than 5 floors, making it the largest prison in the Far East.

I wanted to visit Guan Jinsheng, or a friend in Beijing proposed two years ago, when it was celebrating the tenth anniversary of the establishment of China's securities market, many old friends remembered Guan Jinsheng, but during that time he was not in good health and was tired of seeing people, until today, we have an organic opportunity.
After sitting down, I thought about it and suddenly saw Guan Jinsheng through the window of the side door, and the door seemed to be opened, and Guan Jinsheng flashed past.

This should be a very normal thing, Guan Jinsheng is a prisoner, of course, he is being held. I had imagined this before I visited the prison.
However, when I saw it with my own eyes, I was still shocked, after all, the conceptual "prisoner" and the real person still did not match the number.
