In order to fully implement the relevant requirements of maternal risk prevention and control and treatment management, further improve ideological understanding, implement responsibilities, and strengthen scientific policies, precise management and treatment, in 2024, Xuzhou Maternal and Child Health Hospital will continue to carry out the activity of "Improving Maternal and Child Safety and Security Ability at the Grassroots Level" in the city.
This year, a total of 7 grassroots activities are planned, on May 10, the first activity was successfully launched in Pei County, Chang Guiqiu, member of the Party Committee and deputy director of the Municipal Health Commission, Niu Yong, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Municipal Maternal and Child Health Hospital, and Lv Yunhui, director of the Maternal and Child Division of the Municipal Health Commission, attended the event. A total of more than 80 people, including the heads of obstetrics and gynecology departments/obstetrics departments and department personnel, neonatal directors and department personnel, women's health care staff of primary medical institutions, and other business personnel related to maternal and child safety services, participated in this capacity improvement activity.
Since 2022, entrusted by the Municipal Health Commission, Xuzhou Maternal and Child Health Hospital has innovated the training model in combination with the capacity improvement needs of various counties and districts, and successfully held maternal and infant safety and security capacity improvement activities for two consecutive years, with a total of 16 sessions and nearly 2,000 participants. This year, on the basis of continuing the previous theoretical courses and emergency treatment drills, special obstetric quality control content has been added. Through the quality control of obstetric medical records and the review of typical cases, supervision and inspection are carried out from various perspectives such as obstetric clinical and pregnancy health care, problems and weaknesses are found, and continuous improvement is made, so as to promote the continuous improvement of the level and quality of obstetric medical care in the city.
