Jinyun News: On February 9, Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei jointly held a video signing meeting on "Jointly Promoting the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Basic Research Cooperation Agreement (Phase III)".
Mao Jinsong, secretary of the Party Committee of Tianjin Municipal Science and Technology Bureau, said that the signing of the third phase of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei basic research cooperation agreement marks the further development of scientific and technological innovation cooperation between the three places to the depth and breadth. Tianjin Municipal Science and Technology Bureau will take this as an opportunity, based on the principle of complementary regional advantages, adhere to the concept of win-win cooperation, work with Beijing and Hebei to jointly explore new mechanisms and new methods for basic research cooperation, jointly promote the integration and interaction of scientific and technological innovation in the three places, and serve the major strategic needs of the party and the country.
It is understood that since the launch of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Basic Research Cooperation Project, the three places have invested a total of about 50 million yuan to fund more than 100 projects in the fields of "South-to-North Water Diversion Environmental Impact", "Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Integrated Transportation", "Intelligent Manufacturing" and "Precision Medicine", and some of the project results have been applied.
During the new round of cooperation period, the three places will continue to implement the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei coordinated development strategy in depth, focus on key areas and tasks, adopt the mode of unified organization, unified application, unified review, unified project establishment and unified management, and further promote the special work of basic research cooperation in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei; continue to organize the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Young Scientists Forum, build a communication and cooperation platform, and promote academic exchanges and cooperation among outstanding young scientists in the three places; and continue to promote the sharing of scientific and technological resources such as basic data, experts and policy information. Encourage teams from the three places to build an interconnection platform and establish a long-term mechanism for basic research cooperation.
