According to the Sun reported on October 21, while people across Mexico were preparing for The Day of the Dead and Halloween, a woman in Naucalpan was shot and killed by a neighbor on the evening of the 15th for pretending to be a female ghost to play a prank.
A video taken by residents showed the woman wandering the streets in the middle of the night in a white robe and veil, shouting "Oh, my children." She is said to be posing as a latin American female ghost known as "La Llorona," a ghost who would wander the streets mourning her dead child.
A terrified neighbor reportedly shot the woman and ran away. At present, the police have begun to investigate the incident.
