Application of two-dimensional transient surface waves in tunnel-bottom hidden karst detection

Abstract: This paper introduces a new tunnel-bottom hidden karst detection method - a two-dimensional transient surface wave method based on a cocentric point channel set. The two-dimensional transient surface wave method observation system based on the cocentric point channel set (CMPCC) adopts two methods: fixed arrangement and rolling arrangement, and the data processing method is superimposed to suppress random noise interference, thereby improving data quality and having high lateral resolution. In this paper, the geophone is fixed by drilling, so as to ensure the coupling between the detector and the ground, and the 30kg nylon rod is used to hit the rubber pad to achieve the purpose of excitation of low-frequency signals, thereby ensuring data quality. Subsequent drilling verification shows that the surface wave treatment results and drilling results have high consistency, which proves that the proposed method has a good effect in the detection of tunnel-bottom hidden karst.
