Xuhui District Calligraphy and Painting Association and Anle Academy have launched public welfare calligraphy and painting lectures since January 2019, inviting Shanghai calligraphy and painting masters to teach the majority of calligraphy and painting enthusiasts. A monthly calligraphy lecture and art lecture cater to the different needs of enthusiasts. Gu Benjian, president of the Shanghai Calligraphers Association and the Badaitou Calligraphy and Painting Institute in Yangpu District, explained from the aesthetic beauty of calligraphy, to the small technical avenue of calligraphy, to the historical achievements of calligraphy and the contemporary practical significance. Each one will also hold a raffle ceremony and a group photo to commemorate the lessons, so that students can learn in the classroom.
According to le anhua, the person in charge of Anle Academy, since its establishment for more than three years, Anle Academy has adhered to the purpose of "all public welfare payment", hoping to do a good job in the dissemination and promotion of traditional culture, so that students can become a part of the dissemination. Located in the heart of the city, the Anle Academy attracted students from all over Shanghai, and although the 50th public welfare lecture was held during the festival, many students still heard that the lecture was held as scheduled and signed up to participate. Previously, Tian Wenhui, Xuan Jiaxin, vice presidents of the Shanghai Calligraphers Association, and professors Huang Azhong, Zhou Zhengping, Chen Ting, and other professors have been invited to give lectures.

It is understood that the Xuhui District Calligraphy and Painting Association invites members of the association and Shanghai calligraphers to go to Ningguo Zen Temple to participate in the public welfare cultural activity of "Bringing Blessings Home" on the fifteenth day of the 15th month of each year, and also hopes to give back to the society through this way, so that the public welfare actions can be passed on forever.
