In June last year, Lianjiang County was officially included in the list of pilot counties for water system connectivity and water beauty rural construction supported by the central government in 2021. The total investment of the project is 475 million yuan, focusing on the improvement of 18 rivers and 36.5 kilometers of rivers in three major areas. Through the implementation of comprehensive measures such as water system connection, shore slope improvement, water conservation, pollution prevention and control, etc., we will create a water beauty rural demonstration area of "three eighteen streams, one stream and one scenery".
"The three areas have their own characteristics and rich resources, which are highly in line with the background requirements of the water system connection and the water beauty rural construction project, and Lianjiang will also usher in the golden period of rural development again on this occasion, and build the rural water system into a waterfront landscape belt with significant landscape characteristics, rich and diverse landscape characteristics."
