With the trade deadline approaching, Russell Westbrook's future for the Los Angeles Lakers is uncertain. The former league MVP could reportedly leave Los Angeles to join the Houston Rockets, one of the teams he once played for.

Rumors are rife about westbrook's trade for John Wall, and it sounds like there are some real possibilities behind it. However, it turns out that LeBron James will have the final say on the exchange of the two star point guards.

According to the Bleacher Report, the only way John Wall can swap Westbrook to join the Lakers is for LeBron to agree to the deal:

This is further evidence of LeBron's influence in the Lakers' management. As the report above suggests, Westbrook's odds of staying in Los Angeles after the deadline have increased dramatically, as it was James who contributed to the Lakers' westbrook during last year's offseason.

Wall, on the other hand, is a client of agent predator Richie Paul, who is a close friend of James'.
