Engine Oil: After the engine is turned off, pull up the dipstick to wipe it clean and then plug the dipstick back in, and then pull the dipstick up to check whether the oil level is between the upper limit (MAX) and the lower limit (MIN) specified by the standard. If the car is older and there is a phenomenon of eating motor oil on weekdays, it is better to bring a can of spare oil of the same specifications in the luggage compartment in case of emergency.
Atf Oil: Check that the transmission oil must start the engine, pull up the hand brake, wait for the idle speed to stabilize, and then arrange the gear lever into each gear in order and then into the neutral or P gear, pull up the transmission fuel gauge, and check whether the oil position is between the upper limit (MAX) and the lower limit (MIN) of the standard specification. Then look at the color, bright red indicates clean, dark red shows dirty, smell after the smell, if there is a burnt smell indicates that the clutch piece has improper friction and burning phenomenon, so you can judge from the abnormal phenomenon during driving whether it needs to be replaced or added. As for the inspection and replacement mileage of the gear oil of the hand-row car, it is the same as the self-displacement transmission oil.
Brake Fluid: Check that the brake oil does not start the engine, after opening the hood, you can directly look at the upper and lower limit scales outside the brake oil tank, and the position of the brake oil must be between the upper and lower limit scales. Brake oil is replaced once a year or 20,000 kilometers, because too long use of brake oil will suck in too much water vapor, resulting in a lower boiling point. If the boiling point of the brake oil is too low, it may produce vapor locks (Vapor Locks) under severe brake or high frequency use and make the brakes fail.
Power Steering Fluid: After starting the engine, open the lid to see if the oil position in the direction of the dipstick under the cover is normal. On weekdays, try not to keep the steering wheel too long after turning to the end, so as not to cause the pipeline joint to leak oil if the pressure is too large. General power auxiliary hydraulic oil is directly used gear oil or transmission oil, but it is recommended to use special oil as much as possible.
Gasoline: The easiest way to check the gasoline is to start the engine, check the gas meter on the dashboard, and go to refuel when the fuel gauge pointer reaches the back of the gas gauge. Generally speaking, even if the oil needle falls to the bottom line, there is still about 3 to 5 liters of gasoline in the tank, and too late refueling may cause the dilemma of no oil stall.
