Changchun, February 10 (China News Network) (Reporter Guo Jia) The Beijing Winter Olympics short track speed skating men's 1500 meters quarterfinals began on the evening of the 9th, unfortunately, two athletes from Jilin Province, Sun Long and Zhang Tianyi, failed to go further. However, Yuan Ye, a famous Chinese short track speed skater, believes that these two athletes are "post-00s", and after the tempering of this competition, the future is more worth looking forward to.

In the evening, the Changchun Winter Sports Management Center organized coaches, athletes and Sun Long's parents to watch the game together. In this Winter Olympics, the Chinese short track speed skating team won a full quota, and the two young players, Together with Wu Dajing, Ren Ziwei and Li Wenlong, were selected for the men's team.

Judging from past competitions, Sun Long and Zhang Tianyi have considerable strength. Sun Long finished third in the men's 1500m Group A final of this season's Short Track Speed Skating World Cup in Japan. The 17-year-old Zhang Tianyi played well in the trials, taking the lead in qualifying for the Winter Olympics. In this game, the two were obviously a little nervous, and finally stopped in the quarterfinals.

Currently, Yuan Ye is a coach at the Changchun Winter Sports Management Center. He analyzed that Sun Long's strategy and tactics in the first half of the course were relatively good, but in the back journey, especially when others were speeding up, he felt that there were some small changes in his psychology, which may have caused him to not seal the route when he went out of the corner, resulting in falling behind later.

For Zhang Tianyi, Yuan Ye said that from his experience in participating in the Winter Olympics, in the process of sliding, there will be some ditches on the ice surface, and if the athletes slide to the deepest ditch, there may be slippage.

Yuan Ye believes that this game is a rare experience for the two young players who step on the stage of the Winter Olympics for the first time, which will be of great help to their next and future matches.

Short track speed skating is the "fist" project in jilin province' ice and snow projects, and over the years, the province has trained a large number of outstanding athletes such as Li Jiajun, Wang Chunlu, Feng Kai, Yang Yang, An Yulong, Li Ye, Yuan Ye, Zhou Yang, Li Jianrou, Wu Dajing, Han Tianyu and so on.

Yuan Ye is a team athlete. At the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano, he and his teammates won the bronze medal in the short track speed skating 5,000 meters relay, and at the 1999 and 2000 short track speed skating world championships, Yuan Ye and his teammates won the relay championship.

For the relay project, Yuan Ye has the most "right to speak". He said that the relay project is to see who makes fewer mistakes, who is more successful, and to understand and stand well when handing over.
