According to Japanese media reports, the sequel to the popular light novel Ryogu Kasugari series, "The Disappearance of Yuki Konomon", was released on August 4 in the September issue of the manga magazine "YOUNG ACE" (KADOKAWA), and the series came to an end in about seven years.

The Disappearance of Yuki Nagato is a spin-off manga featuring Yuki Nagato and began serialization in the inaugural issue of YOUNG ACE in 2009. The manga tells the story of Yuki Nagato, an ordinary female high school student in kitago's Literary and Art Department, who slowly approaches Akiko with the help of her best friend Ryoko Asakura. The stand-alone edition is currently on sale to Volume 9, with the final volume, Volume 10, expected to be released in February 2017.
