The American policewoman quickly pushed away a student crossing the street and was hit by a car herself

According to the British "Daily Mail" reported on February 8, Annette Goodyear, a female police officer in Cecil County, Maryland, was on duty on the road near a middle school on February 4 when she reacted quickly to save a middle school student who was almost hit by a car.

The video shows that it was raining, and Goodyear, wearing an orange raincoat, stood on the sidewalk directing traffic. When a middle school student ran across the road, Goodyear gestured to an oncoming car to "stop." However, the black car still came at them quickly. Goodyear quickly grabbed the girl's shoulder and pushed her away, while she herself was knocked to the ground by the car.

Goodyear was reportedly subsequently taken to a local hospital, where she was quickly discharged with only minor injuries. The local middle school posted on Facebook thanking Officer Goodyear for her selfless and courageous behavior, and the local people also called her a "hero".
