The 208th edition of the UFC Fighting Night, which will be held on April 30, has a new high-profile women's grassweight duel, with American veteran Jessica Payne against Brazilian rising star Luanna Pinheiro.
Jessica Payne (14-5, 2 K, 8 S) is 39 years old and has a height of 165cm with an arm span of 170cm. He began his professional MMA career in 2006 and won the Atomic Weights of Invicta FC in 2012, but lost the title in 2013 by Michelle Waterson in the fourth inning. In 2014, he participated in the TUF Ultimate Fighter Selection to enter the UFC event with a score of (11-2) and has achieved a (3-3) result in the UFC so far. A split victory over Randa Markos in the UFC debut, 2015 challenge to former UFC women's grass welt champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk was sadly defeated by the TKO in the third inning, Jessica Andrade in the second TKO in 2016 and Danielle Taylor in 2017. Suffered a career 3 consecutive defeats. He began his professional MMA career in 2016 and lost the third game of his career, and has maintained a winning streak since then. He won the first ko of the 2020 White Dana Draft, joined the UFC tournament in 2021 with a (8-1) result and six consecutive wins, and has won two consecutive wins at the UFC so far, winning the first set in his debut last May due to a foul on his opponent, just beating Sam Hughes in November points. Pinheiro is currently ranked 15th in the women's grassweight in the official UFC rankings.
