At the 4th China Opera Festival, which ended not long ago, three major plays, "Yimeng Mountain", "Half a Red Army Quilt" and "Concentric Knot", were shortlisted, including Zhang Zhuo, an opera actor at the China Opera and Dance Theatre. She played important roles in three plays - "Xia He", a female soldier of the Eighth Route Army, "Xiu Concubine", a villager in Shazhou Village, and "Huang Jiguang's mother".

Zhang Zhuo said: "These three characters have their own unique situations from the shape to the heart, and there are also specific archetypes. They are all tough and strong women, but they are completely different – in different times and in different roles in life. Accurately grasping the personality characteristics of the three characters was a challenge for me. ”

Influenced by his parents who love art, Zhang Zhuo has loved music since he was a child, and officially entered the China Opera and Dance Theater in 2002 to become a singing actor in the opera troupe. She has deeply cultivated the opera stage, and has created a distinct artistic role in many Chinese and foreign operas such as "Song of Youth", "Zhao's Orphan", "Sunrise", "Figaro's Wedding", "Here the Dawn Is Quiet", "Carmen" and so on.
