Student: "Especially happy and proud" to be a flag bearer

Peng Jingyang is a member of the Jinfan Choir of Beijing No. 2 Experimental Primary School. Li Lijie, head of the Jinfan Choir, introduced that in November 2021, the director group came to the choir to select small actors, a total of 4 or 5 children passed the primary selection, and later they submitted the registration video and personal basic information according to the requirements of the director group, and finally left Peng Jingyang alone.

She introduced that the Beijing Second Experimental Primary School Choir was first established in 1978, and was awarded the honorary title of "Golden Sail Art Troupe" by Beijing Municipality in 2008, and has been hosting Jinfan for 14 years so far, and the choir echelon has a total of five branches, namely: Choir A Group, Choir A Reserve Team, Desheng Branch, Wangfu Miao Miao Team and Boy Scout Group.

Among them, Choir A is a performance team and a competition group, mainly for fifth and sixth grade students. Peng Jingyang has better singing conditions and was selected for choir A, "Which is very difficult for third-grade students." Li Lijie said.

In early December 2021, Peng Jingyang and his friends began formal training, followed by intensive rehearsals.

"My mom chose figure skating to make me feel better and let me exercise." Peng Jingyang said that her hobby in addition to singing is skating, she began to participate in figure skating competitions when she was 5 years old, usually go to practice on weekends, and now that it is the Winter Olympics, she will also watch the games with her family.

In January, Peng Jingyang fell ill and missed two rehearsals and a language quiz. Peng Jingyang said that she was also reviewing chinese during the winter vacation and continued to complete the test when the school started.

Lu Yongli, principal of Beijing No. 2 Experimental Primary School, introduced that the school popularized the knowledge of the Winter Olympics and the culture of the Winter Olympics through indoor physical education classes, lectures by external counselors of the Junior Workers' Committee, Olympic champions entering the campus, and the Little Winter Olympic Experience Camp, and other activities, met outstanding athletes of the Winter Olympics, and learned and experienced the spirit of the Winter Olympics.

It is understood that water sports, including swimming, ice and snow, are mandatory contents of the physical education curriculum standards in the compulsory education stage.
