The Athletic reported that Arsenal's winter window signing list included three goalscorers – Vlahović, Isaac and Lewin.

It's no secret that despite Arsenal's engagement, Vlahović eventually joined Juventus, with the remaining two set to be potential targets for the summer window.

The Athletic expects Arsenal to continue their interest in Isaac and Lewin, who will be their number one targets for the summer window.

Arsenal's interest in Lewin has a long history and many in the club's signing team are actively pushing for his transfer.

As for Isaac, Arsenal are not willing to pay a €90 million severance payment, but he will be another target of intense pursuit if Real Sociedad is willing to sell it at a lower price this summer.

The deals for both failed in the winter window, but Arsenal are looking to negotiate a transfer with one of them at the end of the season.

According to reports, Chelsea and Manchester United have joined the battle for Real Sociedad star Isaac.

The Mirror reported that both Chelsea and Manchester United are intent on signing Isaac this summer.

United have allegedly seen Isaac as a potential replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo, and if Lukaku has not performed well this season, Chelsea may turn their attention to Isaac.

It will put some pressure on Arsenal and if they want to attract players ahead of these two teams, they will need to qualify for next season's Champions League.

Isaac is one of Arsenal's preferred targets for the winter window in the centre-forward position, but Real Sociedad have insisted on paying a severance payment to release him, failing to sign him recently.

The termination fee (allegedly €90 million) appeared to exceed the players' actual market value, so they did not trigger the termination clause.

The Athletic reported that Arsenal want Real Sociedad to be more open to selling players in the summer window so they can have longer time to find a replacement.

Still, Arsenal may again be looking for a price a little lower than $90 million.
