After understanding the situation, the police immediately rushed to Wang's home and found the remains of fireworks and firecrackers that had been discharged in his courtyard. The police summoned Wang Mou to the police station in accordance with the law.

Upon questioning, Wang confessed to the illegality of setting off fireworks and firecrackers. In the end, the offender Wang Mou was fined 300 yuan by the police in accordance with the law.
