The 64th anniversary of the Munich air disaster, Marcus Rashford social media mourns: never forget

Today is the 64th anniversary of the Munich air disaster, and Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford mourns the victims on social media.

At 15:04 on 6 February 1958, a flight carrying Manchester United professionals, fans and journalists crashed during its third attempt to take off on the snowy runway at Munich Airport, killing 23 of the 44 passengers and crew on board, including eight Manchester United players and three staff.

Marcus Rashford posted photos of United's starting line-up that year, including clocks pointing to the time of the crash, on social media, writing: "Never forget. ”
