The weather is getting colder, and the Year of the Tiger is coming as promised - February 4, Li Chun, the first of the twenty-four solar terms.
Spring is the beginning of the year, standing, the beginning of the construction also; the beginning of the spring, the beginning of the spring and the establishment of also.
The cold air has repeatedly moved south, and this year's Spring Festival is much colder than last year. However, the plan of the year lies in the spring, which is a solar term that is pinned on hope. Whether it is snow in the north, or rain or flying flowers in the south, it cannot stop people's expectations.
In the sound of firecrackers, the spring breeze sends warmth into Tu Su. Chinese New Year's Eve, the lunar calendar is the Year of the Tiger, and the brave and majestic Zodiac Tiger has come.

In the memory of previous years, the lichun of the southern country seems to be more in line with people's expectations of spring. Why? Because spring arrives between flowers and grass. You see, even though in recent days, the temperature, drizzle, and cold air, in the Guangzhou subway full of flowers, phalaenopsis orchids, kumquat trees, peach blossoms - the annual flowers light up the carriage, full of happiness. You look at the lion dance team at the mouth of the ancient alley, one person dancing the head and one person dancing the tail, the big gong and the big drum, it is not lively, the joy is full.
"One waits for the east wind to thaw, the second waits for the sting insects to vibrate, and the third waits for the fish to lose ice." Li Chun has three seasons, which are the crystallization of the wisdom of the ancients. Every five days there is a change, and we are heading towards spring. From the warm east wind, to the insects that are eager to move, to the fish that swim through the ice, it seems that animals and plants know the hearts of heaven and earth better.
Most of the ancient kapok on the banks of the Pearl River are ready to go, and the beautiful water is clear and clear, ushering in the red of the sky. The flames, between heaven and earth, came through the grind of winter. "As long as the kapok blossoms, the weather will not be cold anymore." This is the covenant between the plants and the earth, and the covenant of spring.
Kapok seems to be more seasonal than the same open sheepshoe nails in spring, because kapok only blooms in the spring, while the sheepshoe nails have a longer flowering period and less seasonality. The title of Kapok "Hero Tree" adds to its sacredness and grandeur.
In fact, from south to north, every place has flowers for spring. To the north is the spring flower, the pale yellow flowers follow the long vines, a bush, a cluster, a little star, early call: "Spring is coming!" Spring is here! ”
The flowers are beautiful and delicious, especially the small wildflowers in the mountains. Every time in Lichun, Zhanjiang's mugwort is sweet and salty, the incense sticky softens, and when it goes down, the whole spring is in the mouth. In the spring, the people of Zhanjiang collected a basket of Tian Mu from the fields, and the yellow flowers were full of fragrance. However, this is still quite a long way from becoming Ai Ling! Tian Ai should be boiled in water once independently, then with brown sugar, etc., and finally boiled and melted, it must be mixed with glutinous rice flour to make a dough of mugwort, and finally wrapped with shredded coconut, peanuts and so on.
How much patience does it take to complete this process. In the cottage fields, there are no luxurious restaurants, no tall machines, but skillful hands. One by one, the dumplings were soaked with the expectations and beauty of Lichun.
In the spring, the southern country has been full of spring, and the northern mountains and wild lands have gradually recovered. These customs of eating spring are different, but they all confirm the saying that "nature is the greatest treasure house", which is the wealth given to people by the solar terms. People's attachment to the earth melts in the food, and the feelings for the earth are expounded between the taste buds.
This year's Lichun, our expectations for spring are more excitement from the north. It was a covenant of ice and snow! Although Guangdong and Beijing are thousands of miles apart, they resonate at the same frequency. Li Chun is the romance of Chinese, and we look forward to the Winter Olympics and go to a grand invitation to dream of ice and snow.
This expectation of Lichun is the expectation of new hope.
"Tiger" is pronounced "Fu", every year of the tiger is a year of blessing, and every year of happiness comes from the hope of Lichun!
Teochew Spring Cake
In the folk, "biting spring" on the day of spring is a very important custom, which means that on the day of entering the spring festival, people should eat spring plates, eat spring cakes, eat spring rolls, and feel the breath of spring through the way of "biting spring".
As early as ancient times, Teochew people had the custom of eating spring rolls. In ancient times, spring cakes were also known as "spring plates", and it is said that spring plates appeared in the Eastern Jin Dynasty 1,600 years ago. Spring plate, that is, on the spring day of liturgy, vegetables, cake bait, fruits, candy, etc. are collected into a plate, gifted to relatives and friends, taking the meaning of their hair to welcome spring, symbolizing the auspicious renewal of the unity of the beginning and the beginning of Vientiane. Spring cake has been passed down to modern times, and then evolved into spring rolls, parallel to spring cake, is a famous snack of Teochew folk. However, the crust is thinner, rolled into the filling and sealed, and then fried in a frying pan to a golden brown, making it particularly crispy and delicious.
Dancing Spring Cow
In the traditional farming society, every year in Lichun, hakka people all over the country have the custom of "whipping spring cattle". For example, meizhou, QingQianlong's "Jiaying Prefecture Zhi and Customs" has a specific record: "On the day before the spring, the shouju officials led their subordinates to meet the mangtu cattle in the eastern suburbs, playing a virgin boy, playing a story, and ascending with Zhaofeng. Colorful shed pavilion, travel around the city, scholars and women throughout. The next day, whipping spring beat the earth cattle. ”
The time when the spring cattle dance begins varies slightly from place to place, but this custom is to make paper cows, sing and dance, to praise the merits of the cattle, to bless the year with abundant grains, and to contain people's beautiful hopes and blessings for the new year.
Recently, a large range of rain and snow across the country continues to be online, and there are heavy snow or blizzards in southern Anhui and western Hunan. According to the forecast of the Central Meteorological Observatory, a new round of rain and snow will develop from the 5th. Meteorological experts remind that overall, the next week in the south will be low temperature rainy and snowy weather. The chills were gusting, and it seemed that the warm spring was still some distance away. In the spring, the weather is changeable, and everyone pays attention to the cold and warm measures!
