At about 11:00 on February 2, 2022, the Cherry Blossom Road Fire Rescue Station in Yongqing County, Langfang City, Hebei Province, received an alarm that a boy fell into a cellar and was trapped in Laoliutuo Village, Beiguzhuang Township. After receiving the alarm, the Sakura Road Fire Rescue Station immediately dispatched to the scene to carry out rescue.
After the fire rescue personnel arrived at the scene, they learned that a 9-year-old boy accidentally fell into the cellar while playing in the courtyard, the cellar was about 3 meters deep, the diameter of the cellar mouth was about 60 centimeters, and the boy was injured in the waist and trapped at the bottom of the cellar, unable to move.
Fire rescue personnel immediately organized the erection of rescue tripods and prepared for the lifting of the well. 3 firefighters carrying rescue equipment and 1 medical staff reached the bottom of the cellar through the ladder, and after the medical staff examined the injuries and confirmed that they could be transferred, they immediately carefully carried the trapped boy to the rescue stretcher and fastened the seat belt for protection. After 10 minutes of intense handling, the crowd worked together to pull the trapped boy to a safe position on the ground and carried the boy to an ambulance and sent him to the hospital for treatment.
