Is the metacosm the future or a bubble? User growth is weak, meta's first financial report thunderstorm

After Netflix, another US stock technology giant thundered. After the US stock market on February 2, Facebook's parent company Meta Platforms released its first financial report after the name change: the overall situation fell short of expectations, the losses widened in the quarter, user growth stagnated, and the guidance for the next quarter was weaker than expected. After the earnings report, the after-hours stock price plunged 22%, or recorded the largest one-day decline in Meta's history. Market panic caused by the plunge spread further to other social stocks, metaverse concept stocks and NASDAQ futures.
