Chinese New Year's Eve night, Fuzhou City is full of strong New Year's flavor. Out of the city to the south, about 40 minutes by car, you can reach the Sanxikou Reservoir in Xiangqian Town, Minhou County, at the foot of the mountain, the activity board house on the shore, also full of laughter, more than 160 left-behind posts of the "one gate and three lines" project builders, scattered in multiple stations, eating Chinese New Year's Eve full of hometown flavor, lively greeting the New Year.

"Chinese New Year's Eve and the first day of the first year, all workers have a holiday, let everyone have a good rest and have a happy year." Project manager Wu Gang introduced that this is the construction site of the "one gate and three lines" project Dapingyuan Tunnel, which is responsible for the construction of the water transmission line from the Jukou Barrage to the Sanxikou Reservoir. At present, the 18-kilometer-long tunnel has been fully penetrated, and construction such as reinforced concrete lining is underway. There are more than 200 workers at the construction site, and more than 160 people stick to their posts during the Spring Festival holiday, most of them from Sichuan, Guizhou, Yunnan, Hubei and other places. Before the Spring Festival, the canteen specially ordered bacon and sausages from Sichuan and Hubei to make Chinese New Year's Eve rice, so that workers could taste the taste of their hometown at the construction site thousands of miles away from home.

Huang Haijun from Kaili, Guizhou, said that after resting well, he must do a good job and strive to open the project to water as soon as possible. Feng Yuancheng from Shiyan, Hubei Province, said that after the resumption of work, he and his co-workers will continue to hang steel mesh on the wall of the tunnel to grab the progress and guarantee the construction period for the project.

Wu Gang said that for the workers who stick to their posts, in addition to paying overtime wages on holidays, they also issue thousands of yuan of "red envelopes" for each worker to stay on the job, "just send a 'red packet', we have prepared 1 million yuan." Wu Gang said with a smile that there is a heart and more salary, and I believe that the workers will work harder in the new year.

The "one gate and three lines" project (that is, the Pingtan and Minjiangkou water resources allocation project) is the largest and longest length water conservancy and people's livelihood project in Fujian since the founding of New China, and the "one gate" is to build the Jukou Barrage Gate in Dazhangxi to store water, with Dazhangxi as the main water diversion water source; the "third line" is the Water Diversion Line from Zhuqi to Dazhangxi in the Minjiang River; the water supply line from Dazhangxi to Fuqing and Pingtan; and the water supply line from Dazhangxi to the main urban area of Fuzhou, Changle and Minhou.

The relevant person in charge of the Municipal Water Conservancy Bureau said that during the Spring Festival holiday, they asked all construction units to actively allocate workers' rest and working hours, do a good job in epidemic prevention and control measures, and let front-line builders have a comfortable and warm year. In the new year, the Municipal Water Conservancy Bureau will take advantage of the momentum, increase pressure and forge ahead, and fully complete the Jukou-Minhou and Changle water supply lines and open water by the second quarter, and fully complete the "one gate and three lines" project before the end of this year.
