According to The Athletic, Arsenal believes that Isaac's termination fee exceeds its true value, so it is not triggered.

Arsenal's winter window hopes to strengthen the front line, Real Sociedad striker Isaac is one of the targets, according to ESPN, Arsenal have been told that if they want to sign Isaac, they must pay a player 90 million euros in severance payment.

The Athletic revealed arsenal have always been interested in Isaac and despite the increased likelihood of players joining before the player closes, the Gunners have never really pushed the deal strongly. Arsenal believed that the player's €90 million severance payment exceeded his true value, so it was not triggered in the end.

Isaac, 22, is priced at €40 million, and the Swedish striker has played 18 La Liga games for Real Sociedad this season, contributing four goals and one assist.
