The first stick of the Beijing Winter Olympic Torch is China's first winter sports world champion Luo Zhihuan, who created the world record of 1500 meters at the time with a time of 2 minutes 09.2 seconds at the 57th World Men's Speed Skating Championships, which was a blockbuster and achieved a "breakthrough of zero" for Chinese winter sports.
As one of the first astronauts on the mainland, Jing Haipeng successfully completed three manned missions of Shenzhou No. 7, Shenzhou No. 9, and Shenzhou No. 11, with a total flight time of 49 days, three feats of flying in the sky, and a magnificent track in the deep space of thousands of miles.
The third stick is Ye Peijian, technical adviser of the Chinese Academy of Space Technology and academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, who is the general consultant of the Chang'e series and Mars probes, the chief scientist of space science and deep space exploration, and was awarded the national honorary title of "People's Scientist" in 2019.
The Beijing Winter Olympic Torch Relay will be held from today to February 4th in three divisions of Beijing, Yanqing and Zhangjiakou, including Beijing Olympic Forest Park, Beijing Winter Olympic Park, Badaling Great Wall, Summer Palace, Grand Canal Forest Park and other 11 closed transmission areas outside the closed loop, and 1 independent transmission area within the closed loop, each transmission point has a unique theme and connotation, which will show the ice and snow resources, ice and snow culture, Winter Olympic heritage, as well as natural, historical, humanistic characteristics and modern style of the three competition areas. There are about 1,200 torchbearers from all walks of life, most of whom have achieved outstanding results or made outstanding contributions in the system and in this field. Among them, the oldest is 86 years old, the youngest is 14 years old, and among the torchbearers, there are international friends from more than 20 countries and regions.
