Del Potro's comeback! Get an outer card for Buenos Aires station and Rio station

Del Potro

On January 31, local time, at-P250 Buenos Aires and ATP500 Rio announced that Argentina's del Potro will compete in these two clay events with a men's singles regular wild card. The ATP250 Buenos Aires station will operate from February 7 to 13, and the ATP500 Rio station will take place from February 14 to February 22.

Del Potro's world rankings once came to third in the world, and the 2019 ATP 500 Queen's Cup grass tournament was del Potro's last tournament, when Del Potro beat Canadian shapovalov in two sets in the first round, but had to retire due to a recurrence of a knee injury in the game. Del Potro has been battling knee injuries for more than two years, going through four right knee surgeries and the Argentine officially resuming training late last year.

The 33-year-old del Potro has slipped to 757th, which will be his first appearance in his hometown event Buenos Aires since 2006, when the 17-year-old del Potro lost to former world Number One Ferrero. This year will also be the first time of del Potro's career appearance in at the ATP 500 Rio, where he won the men's singles silver medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics.
