On May 8, Beijing time, the WTA and ATP announced the latest world rankings.
Among the Chinese players in the women's singles, Zheng Qinwen rose three places to rank 21st, refreshing her personal best ranking. Zhang Shuai ranked 29th, Zhu Lin 42nd, Wang Xinyu 60th, Wang Xiyu 75th, and Yuan Yue 120th.
In addition, Swiatek, Sabalenka and Pegula continued to rank in the top three, Garcia, Gauff and Lebakina each rose one place to rank four to six, respectively, and Abdul-Jabbar dropped three places to seventh.
In the men's singles, the top eight were unchanged from the previous period.
It is worth noting that Djokovic at the top of the table is only five points ahead of Alcaraz, who is in second place.
