Bikstaff: Markkanen is expected to make a comeback on an away trip in the middle of this month

Cavaliers coach Bixtaff gave a pre-match interview to the media today, in which he talked about Markkanen's comeback timeline.

Markkanen suffered an ankle injury against the Thunder on Dec. 23 after reports he would be out for weeks.

Speaking about Mark Kanin's recovery, Bikstaff said Markkanen's situation is improving every day, he will travel with the team to the away and is expected to make a comeback on his road trip in the middle of this month.

The Cavaliers played the Pacers on Feb. 12, the 76ers on the 13th, the Hawks on the 16th, and the Pistons on the 25th.

This season, Markkanen has played 38 games for the Cavaliers, averaging 30.2 minutes per game and having 13.6 points and 5.3 rebounds.
