With the announcement of the All-Star start, the NBA recently announced the selection of the head coach of LeBron James, which will be played by Phoenix Suns coach Monty Williams. At the same time, the coaching staff of the LeBron James team is all from the Suns.
After leading the team to the Finals last season (the first NBA Finals since the 1992-93 season), the Suns, coached by Coach Williams, remain unstoppable in the 2021-22 season, and they have so far achieved a record of 40 wins and 9 losses, ranking first in the league, while also creating the best record in the team's first 49 games.
From Oct. 30 to Dec. 2, the Suns have won 18 games in a row, and they have now won 10 straight games. Williams was named the NBA Western Conference Coach of the Month in October and November.
Monty Williams was the first All-Star Game head coach from the Suns since Mike D'Antoni in the 2006-07 season. Unfortunately, none of the Suns' players were named to the All-Star starting lineup this year.
