Warriors forward Draymond Green recently recalled in a podcast that he and the Warriors team held a free agent recruitment meeting for Kevin Durant in the 2016 offseason.

Green said that as the meeting progressed, eventually when the players walked out of the room, Durant's management spoke with Warriors management and head coach Steve Kerr, who knew Durant was already leaning toward the Warriors.
"He just sat there and said, 'Yeah, man, it's going to be fun,' and just sat there and said, 'I'm looking forward to this, and I sat there and thought, 'Oh man, he's joined, like this has been nailed down.'" Green said.
