Vogel: James' swollen knee has returned to Los Angeles for treatment

Lakers coach Vogel spoke about James in a pre-game interview, saying LBJ's MRI results showed a swollen knee and had returned to Los Angeles yesterday for treatment. Vogel said there would be no comeback as long as James's knee was swollen.

Vogel said the possibility of James playing at home against the Trail Blazers on Thursday was not ruled out, but the players are still on the daily watch list.

So far this season, James has made 36 appearances, averaging 29.1 points, 7.7 rebounds, 6.5 assists, 1.6 steals and 1.1 blocks per game.
