Lei Jun: First of all, to introduce to friends, as of now, Xiaomi has established a technology map involving 12 major fields and 98 subdivisions, covering smartphones, smart cars, robots, software and algorithms, e-commerce, intelligent manufacturing, finance and other technologies developed and applied by Xiaomi. Not long ago, we just presented the third Xiaomi Million Dollar Technology Award, and the "Iron Egg Four-legged Bionic Robot" won this honor. This shows that Xiaomi's technology research and development is becoming more and more sophisticated, the coverage is getting wider and wider, and it is becoming more and more imaginative.
On the tenth anniversary, I put forward three iron laws that Xiaomi will never change in the future, the first of which is "technology-based". In the past two years, Xiaomi's R&D investment has exceeded 22 billion yuan, and the total number of engineers has exceeded 16,000. At the launch of Xiaomi 12, on behalf of Xiaomi Group, I officially announced that in the next five years, R&D investment will exceed 100 billion yuan for breakthrough innovation in core technologies, and will continue to recruit excellent engineers.
