The alpine skiing competition is also known as the "crown jewel" of the Winter Olympic Games, and Huai Wei and his companions became the first alpine skiing doctors in China. It is understood that the slope of the Olympic track is very steep, and once an accident occurs to the athletes, the ski doctor must carry a rescue backpack weighing more than 15 kilograms and come to the athletes within 4 minutes. The rescue requires lying down or kneeling in the snow, removing thick gloves, and not moving for half an hour to an hour in temperatures from minus 20 degrees Celsius to minus 25 degrees Celsius. In the absence of hospital indoor professional instruments and equipment, nor auxiliary examination conditions, through a better set of procedures, to solve a variety of traumas that may be encountered, which is a difficult challenge for ski doctors.
