Reeves afterwards talked about the origin of the incident: "The coach laid out a tactic and I asked (LeBron) a question that I wasn't quite sure of the answer to, just to get validation. Then, a misunderstanding arose, I thought I should stay on the weak side so that he could run with AD (Thick Brow) and Russ (Westbrook) on the other side, but he thought I was there too. So when he told me I should be on [this side], I was confused. ”

Reeves added: "I was actually having dinner with my agent at the time. Suddenly, both of our phones went crazy and we thought, 'Oh? Something happened'. I picked up my phone and saw it (LeBron's post) and it was really hilarious. ”

He said: "The first time I became popular because of something like this, it was just a joke. I think the reason LeBron and I didn't talk about it was because we were just talking. I don't even know why it caused such a big reaction. ”
