【Opening Remarks】——
The Year of the Rat is dying, and "counting" is not easy to say!
This year, when life is no longer peaceful, people who have never known each other watch over each other in the ordinary world; this year, when society is forced to press the pause button, people who do not give up make it tenaciously restart with perseverance.
There is always a group of people who give silently in the invisible place, asking no questions. We feel the power of "simplicity", and the big data created in every ordinary post has extraordinary value and significance. A little bit of shimmering light can finally shine and illuminate China's way forward.
The Year of the Ox is approaching, Xinhua News Agency launched the Spring Festival special report "Counting You Is Not Easy, In Fact, You Are Very Cattle", with "data" as a pen, sketching the Chinese group portraits of struggle, paying tribute to every hero in ordinary life!

He is a police officer of the Chaoge Wendur Town Police Station of the Urat Houqi Public Security Bureau in Bayannaoer City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and has been in charge of this super jurisdiction for more than 20 years.
Located in the northern frontier of Saiwai, his jurisdiction has rolling hills, dry river troughs, and the endless Gobi. In many places, there are almost no roads, and it is often necessary to cross mountains and mountains from one herdsman's home to another.

The area is huge, the terrain is complex, and motorcycles are the best means of transportation. Many herders said that as soon as they heard the sound of motorcycles, the eight achievements were the police Baoyin Deliger coming.
In 2020, Baoyin Drigel rode his eighth motorcycle and traveled around the pastoral area for more than 200 days, with a total distance of more than 60,000 kilometers, equivalent to a circle and a half around the earth's equator.

"The most important thing in working in pastoral areas is to make the herders believe in you and communicate with you, so that the work can be carried out smoothly." Baoyin Deliger said that the "magic weapon" he confides with the herders is "going to the door".

For more than 20 years, Baoyin Deliger, who frequently "came to the door", and his motorcycle have long become a different scenery under the blue sky and white clouds, so herders have given him a nickname - "grassland motorcycle police".
The herders all say that the "steppe motorcycle policeman" is the most trusted person in the Gobi steppe of the Urat Houqi banner, affectionately calling him "Saiyin Chagoda" (Mongolian for good policeman).

Baoyin Drigel also insists on keeping pace with the times. As mobile phone communication becomes more and more convenient, the WeChat group has become an important channel for him to understand information and collect feedback from the masses.
In 2020, Baoyin Deliger joined the WeChat group of herdsmen in more than 30 jurisdictions, and in the face of the high temperature of more than 30 degrees Celsius in the summer and the severe cold of more than 20 degrees Celsius in Lingdong, he served more than 500 herders to the door, and more than 40 contradictions and disputes were mediated at the door, achieving zero public security cases in the jurisdiction.

Baoyin Drigel knew deeply that the power of guarding the peace and tranquility of the pastoral area was very limited. In order to drive more people, in 2017 he founded the Baoyin Volunteer Association.
The purpose of this association is very clear: to publicize the party's policies, popularize legal knowledge, and provide loving services for the people in remote mountainous areas by paying attention to the disadvantaged groups in society to carry out relief assistance for difficulties.

In 2020, the association's volunteers have grown from a dozen to more than 100. During the epidemic prevention and control period, Baoyin Deliger and volunteers sent medical supplies, rice noodles and vegetables to the masses in the pastoral area, and publicized the common sense of epidemic prevention and control, which won the support and praise of the masses, and there was not a single case in his jurisdiction that undermined the order of epidemic prevention and control.

Rooted in the grassroots, dedicated to the grassland, the obscure dedication has brought him countless honors: the national public security system first-class heroic model, the national public security organ model of loving the people, the national outstanding people's police, the national pioneering and excellent communist party members, the national "most beautiful grass-roots public security police", the national "people's satisfactory civil servants"...

Baoyin Deliger, who is 47 years old, has been a police officer since the age of 23. "Since I was a child, I have wanted to be a policeman, punish evil and promote good, and be proud of everything, which is more enviable!" More than 20 years after joining the police, Baoyin Drigel found that a policeman's sense of accomplishment can also come from the recognition and trust of the masses.
Baoyin Deliger, who has always adhered to the grass-roots police station, said: "I am the son of a herdsman, I grew up in the Uralte grassland, I love every grass and tree here, and I am sincerely happy to be able to serve the herdsmen living here." ”
