Pu'er tea brick wall
"JinHao ink bottom fragrant house", this is your first feeling when you walk into the Pu'er Tea Museum. The entire wall is made of Pu'er tea bricks, which emit a burst of fragrance. Quietly, it seems to have long since gone beyond the scope of tea, endowed with a soul and an emotion. There are 1729 brick walls, which correspond to the founding of Gupu'er Province: 1729 AD.
The original plaque of "World Tea Source"
At the 2013 International Tea Industry Conference and the 8th China Yunnan Pu'er Tea International Expo Fair and the 13th China Pu'er Tea Festival, the International Tea Committee awarded the title of "World Tea Source" in Pu'er City and issued a plaque, which further established the status of Pu'er City as the world's tea source, and the original plaque of "World Tea Source" was collected in the Pu'er Tea Museum.

City bricks with the imprint of the times
The bricks of Pu'er Province, bearing the imprint of the times, are stacked under the gates and walls of Huaiyuan Gate. The city bricks are large, about 36 cm long, about 18 cm wide and about 12 cm thick. The words "Qianlong Nongyin Nianzhi County Chen Tuxiu", "Puri" and "Luo" can also be clearly seen on the wall tiles, which also witnessed the prosperity of the Tea Horse Ancient Road.
Pu'er tea business name
According to the "Pu'er County Chronicle", during the Qing Yongzheng period, there were 60 or 70 tea houses in the Area of Pu'er Province, and the annual tea sales volume was about 570 tons. There are more than 20 larger businesses such as Xietaichang, Tongxinchang, Fumeixiang, Yuansheng, Ronghechang, Yishengchang, Guojin, and Guangxinglong. At the end of the Qing Dynasty, Simao successively set up Tongzhi and Customs, which became a transit station between Pu'er and various tea areas. Now, most of these businesses have been submerged in the long river of years, and what remains unchanged is the melodious aroma of tea.
Ancient Road Ferry
For the first time, I knew that Jiangcheng was once an important town through which the Ma gang transport in Pu'er, Simao, Yiwu and other places had to pass. During the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, Jiangcheng opened Up Menglie Street, Guangxu Twenty-second Year (1896 AD), Shi Simao Customs Menglie Branch, tea from Mabang to Lixian River on the Dam Slip Ferry, and then water transported to Laizhou, Vietnam and then haiphong Port, transshipment to Southeast Asian countries, this is an important transport trade route, Li Xian River on the Dam Slip Ferry port is known as the Tea Horse Ancient Road Port.
Forbidden City Tribute Tea
In the fourth year of Qing Yongzheng (1726 AD), the chancellor Ortai served as the governor of Yungui and began to implement the "tea bud system for the advancement of the years", and selected the best Pu'er tea to pay tribute to the capital. In the tenth year of Qing Yongzheng (1732 AD), Pu'er tea was officially included in the "tribute tea" case book by the court. To this day, the Palace Museum in Beijing still treasures the unique treasure "Wanlong Tuan" Pu'er Gong Tea, which has become a historical relic in the fine works of Pu'er tea and has survived in the world.
At present, there are 3 Forbidden City tribute teas on display in the Pu'er Museum, namely the large Pu'er tea ball with a diameter of 21 cm and a height of 15 cm (pictured below), a small round tea ball with a diameter of 7 cm and a height of 5 cm, and a Pu'er square tea cake with a length of 18 cm, a width of 12 cm and a height of 15 cm.
