Sticking the Spring Festival is a very grand activity in our traditional customs of the New Year, some places are "twenty-eight, decals", and some places are "twenty-nine, paste upside down", when will you paste the Spring Festival? And what is the sticker?
I remember living in the countryside when I was a child, years ago with the adults to catch the big market, some old people will set up stalls on the side of the road to sell their own written spring league, at that time always entangled in the spring league to write something good, although the spring league is nothing more than some auspicious words, but also want to pick out a pair of fresh and good-looking couplets, if this year's spring league you have no clue, then you can listen to these I share.
The first pair, the upper link "the epidemic is far away from the spring color", the lower link "Seocho new meng snow fengyin", coinciding with the New Year's Pass, the epidemic has a trend of counterattack, it is inevitable to make people feel sad, so the upper link writes that the epidemic is far away, I hope that the epidemic in the new year can be far away from us, and do not affect our normal life, and the next link of seocho new meng is also the expectation for the future life, the past 2021 natural disasters continue, but also hope that the new 2022 can be smooth, grain and abundant, I think the meaning is not bad.
The second pair of spring leagues, the upper link "Fu Wushuang has been in the dynasty", the lower link "Misfortune is not a single line yesterday", speaking of this spring league, there is a small story in it, this couplet is from the hand of the great calligrapher Wang Xizhi, Wang Xizhi's calligraphy is often remembered because of its high value, and the Spring League pasted on the door is the same, and on the eve of the Spring Festival, Wang Xizhi wrote another Spring League, the upper link is "Fu Matchless", the lower link "Misfortune is not alone", this Mrs. Wang is angry at a glance, the Big New Year you write such an obscure word, Wang Xizhi also did not explain and pasted on the door, in the middle of the night, the thief really came to steal the calligraphy and painting, but when he saw this up and down, he felt that it was too obscure, and he did not want to steal. The next day, early in the morning, Wang Xizhi's pen came out, and three words were added to the upper and lower links, "this dynasty to the end" and "yesterday's line", which instantly became a pair of spring leagues with auspicious meanings.
If you want to post an atmospheric couplet, you may wish to listen to my spring couplet, the upper link "Xun Ye has the light of the sun and the moon", the lower link "Meritorious Name and Children and Grandchildren", this is the couplet on the ancestral hall of Jia Fu in "Dream of the Red Chamber", from the former emperor's royal pen, the upper link praises the merits of Jia Fu, the lower link blessings the merits to benefit future generations, and it is also under the protection of the former emperor that Jia Fu can temporarily prosper overshadow other families. I think there is also a subtlety in this couplet, friends who have watched "Dream of the Red Chamber" may know the ending of Jia Fu, because of the blessing of the former emperor, and because of the tragic raid on the family because of the later loss of power, from the rise to the death, it has sounded an alarm bell for us, and the way to maintain the family is the strategy for survival and prosperity.
